Providing Waterproofing Since 2002

Exterior 7 Layer System

Placing tarps and plywood in the excavation area.

Excavate approx 3′ from the foundation. Power wash all exposed wall and footings. Fill all cracks with hydraulic cement. Apply Auabloc Liquid Rubberized Membrane and install clear Poly to leave the area seamless. Install Platoon dimple drainage board. Install top strap anchored every 6″. Remove and replace weeping tile. Lastly put 1′ – 3′ of gravel then backfill the remainder.

Interior Crystalline

Sand-blast/water-blast or brush tool the area to remove all the paint and scarify the surface to open the pores and the capillaries of the concrete where necessary. U-groove all cracks and cold joints 1/2 inch – 1 inch. Remove all loose concrete and any other contaminants. Apply Crystalline*A* insta-plug where necessary to stop any active water flow. Apply Crystalline*B* to the U-grooved cracks and joins, overlapping 6 inches on each side.

Wait approximately 30 – 60 minutes or until the coating does not stick to the finger. (Drying time depends on ambient temperature) Apply a second coat of Crystalline*B* in a perpendicular direction of the first coat (First coat-vertical, Second coat-horizontal). Apply one coat of Crystalline C/D over the Crystalline*B* when B is dry to the touch; this allows Crystalline*B* to remain hydrated during the 24 hour curing process. All work areas will be ready for your painting contractor after completion and curing. (Recommended to use a breathable emulsion type paint over Crystalline products).
